Can't tell you how great this little bike cover seat has worked out. A bit pricey (shipping almost the same cost as the product) however worth it in the end. I used to get a very sore buttocks if I rode more than 30 minutes. I even tried bike shorts with padding. Now I can ride as long as I want without any discomfort or tissue injury afterwards. I ride a stationary bike two hours a day. The original seat never caused me any problems for years. I start having problems with lower back, knees. Lower back getting worse, very stiff and waking during night with discomfort. Seek chiropractic treatment. He has me coming in twice a week and doing all types of stretching exercises and purchasing...Chiropractor did not seem to think the problem was the bike. The only activity that could possibly contribute to my lower back was the bike. I stopped riding the bike, decreased time on the bike, put towels on the seat and none of them improved the problem. A friend mentioned purchasing a new bike seat. I did not think that was possible, until I found bicycle seats.com. I purchased the seat the day I found it and it was delivered within a week and I have not had any problems since. I ride for hours watching a movie and sometimes twice a day. Not ONE pinch or stiffness to be felt in my back and my knees stopped aching and swelling. Chiropractic care is all about proper alignment. The pressure on my tailbone was causing all the havoc. I got this large gel seat for my wife’s recumbent bike, which came years ago with a very hard seat — up ‘til now she’s tried making it softer by using a piece of foam, which was sort of OK, but... So I took measurements of the existing, hard seat (17”x13”), contacted bicycleseats.com, and within two days (this during Christmas holidays) the gel seat arrived. My wife couldn’t imagine what could be so heavy in the box; she was thrilled when she opened it and saw and hefted the gel seat, and we both couldn’t believe the absolutely perfect fit over the old, hard seat. The drawstring was tightened and, with the heavy gel-against-old seat friction, the new seat doesn’t move one bit during riding. Good riddance foam!

It always be an "asset" to my bike, and my comfort. At 80-years old, comfort is what counts. I enjoy it. It's wonderful.

Ordered this cover for my recumbent bike. It is a little large, but I like that because there is no issue of tightening the drawstring. It has made my seat much more comfortable.

This purchase was for my 94 year old mother who is a long time recumbent bike rider and who recently developed painful pressure wounds. As we age these wounds become difficult to prevent and even more difficult to treat. This seat has made a huge difference in my Mom's comfort. Finally, an extra large and comfy gel bicycle seat cover. My recumbent exercise bicycle's seat is basically a huge bicycle seat shaped wooden picnic table. My poor flat behind was crying "OUCH!" every time I worked out (which I do every single day). I did purchase a gel seat cover about two years ago and it barely fit over my bicycle's seat. That old seat cover was not helping me any longer, so I did some research and found this Jumbo Gel Pad for 16" - 18" Wide Seats. It is perfect! It fit over the original bike seat and was easy to secure tightly. Ahhhhhhhhhhh... my hour long workouts are an absolute pleasure now. Thank you for offering this seat cover. There are very few extra large options out there. So comfy. My flat behind is smiling!

The gel seat cover works great. We added it to a damaged seat on our recumbent stationary bike. Fits perfect. Customer service really helped out in this purchase as they gave the advice. Everyone says the bike looks new again with the seat cover.

The seat cover was of high quality but would have fit my Schwinn recumbent bike seat a little better if it was a little longer( about an inch) from front to back. I had to pull it to make it acceptable. The width was ok
